Supporting manufacturing innovation

27 March 2018

Toyota Material Handling will be displaying a wide variety of products and innovations which increase efficiency within the manufacturing industry at MACH 2018.

Toyota will be showcasing a range of trucks ideal for transporting and storing goods around the factory environment. These include the latest in tow tractors and load carriers, hand and powered pallet trucks and electric counterbalance forklifts.

The Toyota team will be on stand to speak to visitors about their materials handling requirements and provide them with advice on which trucks may best suit their manufacturing operation.

Jon Buckley, Commercial Director at Toyota Material Handling UK explains “Toyota is invested in providing new and innovative solutions to the materials handling sector. As the MACH exhibition prides itself on exhibiting advances in the manufacturing process, we believe that we can showcase products which will help our customers to meet the demands of these improved processes.”

On stand there will also be information on simple automation and how it can help to streamline processes in factory environments. There will also be a free Toyota Production System (TPS) Whitepaper available which discusses the benefits of lean manufacturing.

Buckley adds “The Toyota Production System is world renowned when it comes to helping make manufacturing processes more efficient and productive. The addition of simple automation can help you further streamline processes and increase productivity in simple, repetitive tasks. We believe that by combining these two principles together, we can really benefit the manufacturing industry as it continues to grow and develop.”
