Pump firm scores in Russia
09 July 2018
The World Cup is one of the most watched sporting tournaments in the world and attracts an audience of over 3 billion people globally. This – the 21st competition – is the first time that Russia has hosted the championship. Playing a support role are 850 Grundfos units that are being used for a wide range of pump applications.

The 12 football venues – many of which were purpose-built – are spread across 1800 miles and, together, they have the capacity for 581,118 fans to watch the action first-hand.
The role of the Grundfos units is to ensure that the venues meet a range of pumping demands including water supply, heating and ventilation, cooling, drainage, and to provide fire protection systems.
You may not be able to see the units, but they are there, quietly delivering support.
