CFTS to share key insights at IMHX 2022
30 August 2022
CFTS WILL share its latest developments with both end-users of lifting equipment and members of the trade at IMHX 2022 this September.

Taking a prominent place on stand 5D12 – home to parent group UKMHA – CFTS will share important safety information including videos and visual guides showing all the components that must be tested in order to fulfil the requirements of UK legislation.
Representatives from CFTS will be on the stand throughout the event from the 6th to the 8th September to demonstrate the latest equipment used by CFTS-accredited inspectors to ensure the most comprehensive and thorough examination. This includes chain gauges and a new innovation: fork wear gauges, to guarantee truly precise and repeatable measurement of key wear parts.
Visitors will also be able to explore the locations of more than 700 CFTS-accredited centres nationwide and find their nearest provider.
For those attending from within the materials handling industry, the CFTS stand will provide an opportunity to discuss what is required to become an accredited company, with details of forthcoming training opportunities for competent persons, supporting scheme management and administrative personnel.
"Visitors from across the entire industry will find a warm welcome on stand 5D12," said CFTS chairman Geoff Martin. "Our aim is to give owners and operators of materials handling and lifting equipment the confidence of knowing that by choosing a provider who carries the CFTS mark they are taking a step in ensuring safe operations.
"At the same time, we are looking forward to seeing many of our current providers and meeting those who wish to work to our recognisably high standards," he added.
