Trane demonstrates leadership in sustainable data centre solutions at Open Manufacturing Days in France

The event, known as Open Manufacturing Days, showcased Trane’s expertise as a data centre thermal management specialist committed to advancing the energy efficiency and resilience of data centre operations.

A highlight of the event was the inauguration of Trane’s new dedicated assembly line for data centre solutions, nearly tripling manufacturing capacity and supporting the growing demand for high-quality, reliable thermal management technology. This investment underscores Trane Technologies’ commitment to sustainable growth for data centre clients in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand regions, while also strengthening local economies.

During the three-day event, attendees participated in guided tours and hands-on demonstrations of Trane’s expanded portfolio for edge, colocation, and hyperscale data centres. The showcased solutions included advanced air and liquid cooling solutions such as Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAH), fan wall units, high-efficiency chillers, precision cooling systems, and heat recovery technologies - all engineered to deliver reliable cooling, reduce total power usage effectiveness (PUE), and advance decarbonisation efforts across data centre applications. 

Participants engaged directly with Trane’s engineering specialists, discussed future expectations, and learned about the rigorous quality control procedures that ensure every customised unit meets the highest standards and requirements.
