QR codes and Unique ID labels

GSM Graphic Arts has seen demand for labels pre-printed with bespoke QR codes and unique id increase significantly with one of the biggest growth areas the hospitality trade where QR coded labels are used for scanning to view menus and place orders.

However QR coded product labels can also provide significant benefits in industrial applications for scanning to view user manuals, checking parts availability when servicing equipment and product identification / serialisation.

GSM’s digital printing capability is perfect for producing QR code labels as it enables us to produce either low volume requirements, where all labels will contain the same code, or higher batch quantities with each label containing a unique QR code.

Rugged QR code labels can be produced on anodised aluminium or laser marked stainless steel, ideal for industrial, even offshore, applications. Under surface printed Polycarbonate also provides a durable label option, tested to ANSI B71.4 for UV durability, and guaranteed not to fade within 5 years.
