Crown believes its new WT 3000
Series pallet truck has all the qualities
a vehicle needs to work day in, day
out in punishing conditions.
Analysing the results of onsite customer research, the Crown team identified those components which are subjected to the highest stresses.
As a result, heavy-duty side restraints are attached to the vehicle by a super-rugged mounting. Shocks that would cause chassis and frame to judder are absorbed by guide casters mounted on lifetime torsion springs.
The optimised suspension also extends caster life.
Inside the WT 3000, carefully designed components help minimise running costs over the life of the vehicle. By reducing shaking and vibration, the smoothly efficient suspension system, combined with Crown's zero-maintenance e-Gen braking system, cuts service levels, minimises downtime for repairs, and keeps trucks running for longer.
The company's FlexRide system is said to reduce vibration by up to 80%, while the floating suspension reduces operator fatigue and back pain.
