A low cost version joins Kistler's NC
Electromechanical Joining Module
family and is designed for standard
joining processes. The 400mm stroke
allows deep end points to be reached
easily, while stroke speed of up to
150mm/s offers a quick return stroke
and hence a short machine cycle,
even for a long idle stroke.
The absolute encoder, standard on all Kistler NC joining modules, eliminates the need for reference point determination even during operation. The piezoelectric force sensor in a robust case has two predefined measuring ranges: 50 and 25kN for precision measurement.
NC Compact Firmware, integrated into the servo controller, offers simple force displacement evaluation and documentation of standard joining tasks.
