Precision engineering technologies on
display from Renishaw will include
new products, such as Equator - the
versatile gauge, and laser melting
systems for creating complex parts in
a variety of metals, using an additive
manufacturing process.
Equator offers an alternative to traditional dedicated gauging, with a low-cost design. Its construction and method of operation mean it is capable of high-speed comparative gauging for inspection of highvolume manufactured parts.
Equator has been conceived and developed by working closely with automotive, aerospace and medical gauging users, alongside their manufacturing machines. The result is a light weight, fast and highly repeatable gauge that operators can use with 'push-button' simplicity.
Equator can switch between parts in seconds, for flexible manufacturing processes or accepting parts from multiple machines. Stand 5640
