Coinford has invested in 10 new HPC Kaeser portable compressors - four single tool M20s and six twotool M43 compressors and has put them to use on construction sites where they operate a range of air tools and assist with tasks such as surface preparation and the breaking out of piles and pile caps.

The M20 and M43 have new generation Kubota water-cooled diesel engines that ensure superquiet operation. Furthermore, the unit's airend is coupled to the engine via HPC Kaeser's 1:1 direct drive system, which is said to provide more compressed air for less fuel consumption. A flow-optimised SIGMA Profile airend, designed to run continuously under load, is more than capable of powering heavy-duty breakers and a variety of construction tools. Operational weights of less than 460kg and 730kg result in the M20 and M43 being simple to manoeuvre and transport. An anti-frost device protects tools against freezing.
