Parker Hannifin's new hydraulic
directional control valve is targeted
at mobile applications moving to a
more advanced and energy efficient
load sensing system from a
conventional open centre
arrangement. The VP120
complements Parker's existing valve
range and uses contemporary flowsharing
technology to address
commonly encountered productivity
problems associated with pump
over-demand conditions.
It can be operated manually, hydraulic-remotely, or with solenoids. It is reported to be capable of achieving fuel savings of up to 30% versus open centre systems and is rated for a maximum pump input of 160L/min and a work section output range of 15 to 120L/min.
Input pressure rating is 280 bar and the work port is rated to 320 bar.
