Jaguar 2 from Vapormatt is the latest
in a line of automatic wet blasting
stations and is expected to be of
particular interest to the aluminium
extrusion sector as well as the
broader machining industry.
It features a 950 x 950mm load table and process nozzles that are directed at both the upper and lower surfaces of a component, allowing total wet blast coverage without the physical need to turn parts. Load capacity is to 36in diameter or 0.5t.
Mick Teague, sales director, says in addition to high quality component cleaning other operational needs can be met, such as de-burring, de-rusting and satin polishing. The combination of air pressure and media selection produces a highly controlled finish on the component.
