Mibelle cleans up with Aisle-Masters

24 May 2013

Five Aisle-Master articulated trucks, soon to be joined by a sixth, are now deployed for a wide range of handling duties at the UK production and distribution centre of personal care products manufacturer, Mibelle Group.

The electric powered narrow chassis 15E Aisle-Master models are used to transport incoming raw materials such as palletised drums of chemicals and liquids to the storage facilities and manufacturing areas and also for the picking of finished goods.

They can also work inside and out as required, on gradients and in wintry conditions. The trucks were chosen not only for this versatility and their ability to work in very narrow aisles but also for the range of features they offer and their reputation for reliable operation.

The 15E’s chassis width – just over a metre – together with its extreme manoeuvrability enables the trucks to work comfortably in the pre-existing aisle configuration and has also delivered benefits in the loading bay area: widths between bays have been reduced, resulting in space to add extra rows of stock. The 1.5t capacity easily copes with lifting pallets to the top beam of 6m and the power utilisation of the large capacity battery offers longer operation per charge than with the previous trucks.
