Toyota to acquire VNA business
02 June 2013
DAMBACH Lagersysteme, a supplier of automatic storage and retrieval machines, has sold the DAMBACH Very Narrow Aisle forklifts (VNA) interest to Toyota Material Handling Europe.

Under the new agreement, production of BT brand VNA trucks will move from Bischweier in Germany to the Toyota factory in Mjölby in Sweden.
"VNA trucks made by DAMBACH have been included in our product portfolio for many years," said Mike Mathias, MD of Toyota Material Handling UK.
"Dambach have now made the strategic decision to focus on their core stacker crane business and Toyota Material Handling will integrate the Dambach range into the existing VNA range produced in our factory in Mjölby under TPS (Toyota Production System) standard."
