Record final quarter
15 October 2013
UPM Conveyors has reported a record final quarter following the Total Show, which surpassed all expectations in terms of enquiries for product handling systems and orders taken on the stand.

The company’s total turnkey projects range from handling prawns in Spain, to serving 15,000 meals per day at a mine in Jakarta, through to fresh vegetables in Kenya for Finlay’s Fresh Produce. One major food processor reports a payback of only six months on an outlay of circa £150,000.
Exports have increased to around 40% of turnover based on a mix of direct exports and indirect via UK located multi-nationals.
