UltraSharp technology
02 December 2013
Using one of Kerf's mid-range high definition plasma units it is possible to achieve cut speeds of 3300mm/min on 12mm thick mild steel.

On thinner materials, 1-12mm thick, the Kerf high definition plasma is said to produce high quality components very quickly. This process can pierce and cut mild steel from 1mm right the way through to 50mm thick
Whilst some laser machines can cut mild steel plate from 15-20+mm, the edge finish is not as neat as on thinner materials. However, the new Kerf UltraSharp technology provides the ability to achieve this.
