Water treatment skid
02 December 2013
With space often at a premium, Byworth Boilers has become expert in building pre-assembled plant rooms and this, in many cases, has led to the reduction of on-site installation through producing packaged sub-assemblies.

One such example is a water treatment skid, designed and built recently for a project where on-site work needed to be kept to a minimum. The Hotwell tank is stainless steel and incorporates Byworth level probes with solenoid operation of cold water feed and a low water alarm function.
The blowdown receiver was again designed and built in the company's Keighley factory. The skid includes duty/stand-by feed water pumps, duplex water softener and chemical dosing tanks, bunds and pumps.
