The new Proseal GT5exSD can seal trays up to 400mm wide, making it particularly suitable to handle large cuts of meat and joints. Top speeds for the single lane machine are up to 40 skin pack trays per minute.
The GT5exSD is fully flexible and adaptable to handle any type of packing operation, including MAP gas flushing, vacuum MAP sealing, skin packaging below and above the flange, and skin deep. Customers simply select the format types they require; these can be added to or taken off at any time, allowing pack format changes without having to invest in new equipment.
Maximum throughput is achieved thanks to Proseal’s Pro-Motion system, which uses following motion and intelligent buffering technology to enable trays to feed continuously into the sealer.
