Higher incline spirals

At each of five new UK greenfield central distribution warehouses, a major grocery retailer is to invest in SpiralVeyors from AmbaFlex, to help move totes from picking to dispatch. Units from both the SV-series and the SVo series will be implemented. The SV series will be fitted with a 400mm wide belt for the more general descending purposes.
The SVo series makes use of new AmbaFlex technology, which eliminates the issues causeed by the twist where the inner angle is sharp and the outer side slow. The newly belt does not have two outer edges, but provides supports over the complete product length.
For rigid items with regular sizes, such as shipping containers, it offers stable contact and a much higher grip. Thanks to this innovation, items can be elevated at much higher inclines, saving elevation time and costs.
