Contaminate removal
18 July 2017
Suitable for industries such as chemical, food and pharmaceutical where compressed air quality is important, the Parker Zander CDAS and OFAS ranges offer Class Zero performance – the complete removal of contaminates. Air quality has been third-party validated by Lloyds Register to ISO 8573-1.

While it may initially be thought that such effective contaminate removal may have a derogatory effect on performance, Thorite, a supplier of the products, says that this is definitely not the case. Both the CDAS and OFAS ranges are designed to provide a consistently high performance thanks to a number of new manufacturing processes. Yet high performance doesn’t have to equal high energy costs. Energy saving technology, which is standard on all units, automatically adapts dryer operation to the ambient air inlet conditions and compressed air demand. This ensures optimum energy consumption, full utilisation of the filter material, and a 5-year valve lifetime.
Maintenance costs are always an issue but with the CDAS and OFAS ranges, maintenance costs have been minimised. Even the filter housing has a 10 year guarantee against corrosion.
