Airport role for pumps
02 July 2018
Grundfos pumps are working behind the scenes to help Aberdeen Airport enhance its passengers' experience.

Some of the work, that forms part of a £20m terminal transformation, has been obvious to the 3 million passengers who travel through this hub every year. For example, the new baggage reclaim areas and upgrades to the infrastructure itself; other work is less obvious.
The latter is certainly true for the many of Grundfos pumps – from the TP, MAGNA3 and UPSN circulator pump families that are at heart of the M&E solution, whose role it is to provide the pump requirements to support all HVAC and HWS requirements within the new terminal.
Grundfos worked with consultant WSP and installer Richard Irvin Energy Solutions to ensure that every step within the process met the ambitions of this far seeing project that is due to for completion in 2019.
