HSE announces collaboration with SHW Live
03 September 2021
SAFETY, HEALTH & Wellbeing Live has confirmed that both of its new 2022 events will be delivered in collaboration with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
The events will take place on 15-16 February 2022 at Manchester Central and Farnborough International 28-29 September 2022 and both will be free-to-attend for visitors. SHW Live is reinventing a regional exhibition and conference platform, which unites and empowers safety and health communities via both events.
Experts from the HSE will be on site at both events to offer advice and guidance to delegates. Sarah Newton, chair at HSE, will deliver a keynote address when we bring the OSH community together in the North-West at Manchester Central. HSE will also deliver CPD-accredited seminars at SHW Live in both Manchester and Farnborough.
Jacinta Atkinson, head of marketing at HSE, expressed her excitement on announcing the collaboration. She said: “We are delighted to be collaborating with SHW Live to help shape the agenda for the shows to reflect the needs of our dutyholders, stakeholders and partners. We look forward to engaging with you at the events to provide support and guidance to raise awareness of our wide range of products and services to meet your specific requirements".
Tim Else, managing director of What Else Events, organiser of SHW Live, described the collaboration with the HSE as a “vital source of information for delegates”. He said: “SHW Live has the support of the sector’s most influential stakeholders alongside commercial support from a rapidly growing cohort of major safety brands. Our collaboration with the HSE is an exemplar of the strength in depth of support we have attracted within 3 months of launch and this relationship with HSE ensures that the delegate experience will be second to none in terms of CPD, new ideas and inspiration to raise standards of safety, health and wellbeing in your workplace.”
