Schneider Electric name PWR as first Master Robot Partner
16 June 2020
Schneider Electric has appointed PWR, specialists in automated robotic packaging solutions, as its first ‘Master Robot Partner’. The announcement underlines the importance of the relationship, after many successful robotic packaging projects in the food industry.
In recent years, the rise of high-speed, multi-robotic picking and packing lines has led to greater demand for more powerful and tightly coupled control and information systems, which require a higher level of engineering and programming expertise to design and build. The partnership between robotics solutions experts, PWR and technology leaders, Schneider Electric, ensures that their customers can continue to receive the most advanced, bespoke automated packaging solutions on the market.
“At PWR, we build automated robotic solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. 25 years of automation excellence in the Bakery, Confectionery, Convenience, Snacks and Pet food industry demonstrates we have the skills and understanding to transform the performance of food businesses with automated packaging.” Peter Mellon, Director at PWR. “Our partnership with Schneider Electric enables us to use best in class technology to exceed expectations in a growing market."
“To truly deliver the best end solutions, you need experienced partners that have proven they deliver without exception. Having worked with PWR for over 20 years, we know they have the expertise to tackle the most demanding applications,” Martin Walder, Vice President at Schneider Electric UK & Ireland. “With our suite of synchronized, high speed, multi-robot control systems and products, from sensors to software, we can provide PWR with the technology to make the most advanced solutions on the market.”
