Association Awards for Excellence
received their awards in a glittering
ceremony at the end of February.
The final four categories - the Association's 'Pick of the Year' - were the source of the night's fiercest competition and, in a close-run contest, Cascade Corporation (Environment),Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks (Ergonomics), Abex (Safety) and RAVAS Europe (Innovation) emerged victorious.
Individual winners included Luke Elmer, a graduate of the University of West England, who picked up a Design Achievement award for his Vibralert system which warns pedestrians of forklifts nearby. This year's Lifetime Achievement award went to Kevin Lofting, founder of Albury Asset Rental.
