Two NOV Mono's EZstrip progressing
cavity pumps have been installed at
United Utilities Fairbourne wastewater
treatment works to improve
process efficiency by reducing
downtime on a critical site process.
The maintain-in-place pumps have been installed to pump return activated sludge from one MBR cell to another at 55m3/h. Due to the nature of the process, they operate continuously and an extra EZstrip pump has been supplied as a spare.
The EZstrip provides a quick way to disassemble, de-rag and maintain a PC pump in-situ, eliminating costly maintenance and down time.
It can be installed in new plants or retrofitted to Mono Compact C installations.
