Clayton Equipment has specified Hawker batteries as standard since 2007. A recent project was to provide 14 and 20t narrow gauge maintenance locomotives to Costain for working in tunnels beneath London. These are powered by 200V batteries from the Hawker Perfect Plus range with 1240A/h and 750A/h capacities. They offer a high level of power, long running times and reliability.
