Royal role
30 July 2013
Forklift trucks aren’t often seen in palatial surroundings, but four Cat machines from Impact Handling performed their debut duties at Buckingham Palace for the Coronation Festival, marking the Queen’s 60 years on the throne.

The new 2.5t diesel DP25N Cat lift trucks were hired by Global Experience Specialists (GES) for the set-up and de-rigging of the prestigious event.
The DP25N Cat lift trucks feature powerful diesel engines optimised to reduce emissions and fuel consumption, as well as PowerShift transmissions for easy operation and service.
GES’ technical manager Steve Mott chose to work with Impact Handling for its flexibility in delivery and collection and the high quality and reliability of its Cat forklifts.
