UK supplier of Cat Lift Trucks, Impact Handling is working with explosion protection specialist Pyroban to offer customers lift trucks suitable for handling flammable materials.
The ATEX-certified trucks meet UK DSEAR requirements for explosion protection and are available on request to support Impact’s range of materials handling products.
Pyroban’s gas detection product, system6000, for example, combines gas detection with automatic truck shutdown before any dangerous levels are reached. Pyroban systems are also used to ensure that areas are checked before a vehicle’s ignition is started, reducing the risk of dangerous explosions.
Impact Handling offers protection for zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
