New division
24 September 2013
Pickerings Lifts has added a new business stream to its portfolio which will specialise in the supply, installation, service and maintenance of a wide range of heating, ventilation and air conditioning products.

Initially the core focus of Pickerings Lifts Heating & Cooling Services, which is registered with Gas Safe and REFCOM, will be the North West and North Wales regions, however the business has already acquired a number of national contracts and plans are in place for the division to expand across the UK.
The new division is headed by operations manager Gareth Chappells. He says: "Our priorities are delivering service and maintenance regimes which improve economy and performance, reduce downtime and increase the overall lifespan of equipment. We will also strive to ensure that all customers are regularly updated and assisted with their responsibilities to remain compliant with all current regulations and legislation.”
The company will also provide specialist support to the evolving heat pump market, including the gas fired and renewable source driven absorption heat pump which has ultra-high operating efficiencies of almost 40% more than conventional boilers and a low environmental impact.
