24h delivery
30 September 2013
AFI is now guaranteeing delivery of over 2500 powered access machines from its rental fleet within just 24h (working days) of an order being placed.

The machines are based at AFI’s 20 depots throughout the UK and comprise 19, 26 and 32ft battery-powered scissor lifts as well as 5, 7 and 8ft Push Around Vertical lifts (PAVs). The scheme applies to deliveries within a 30 mile radius of the depot.
The 24h initiative follows the success of AFI’s 48h scheme which covers a wider range of core machines, including selected boom and mast lifts, scissor lifts and PAVs.
Commenting on the 24h initiative, AFI director Steve Williams said: "This initiative will help our customers to keep projects on schedule, particularly when unforeseen circumstances arise. We are able to offer this scheme due to our success in maximising fleet efficiency and our ongoing improvements in the areas of engineering and logistics."
