PROFIBUS systems course
22 July 2014
The PROFIBUS Group offers certified training at its Competence Centre at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) as well as on-site at customer premises.

Part of this training covers Commissioning and Maintenance of PROFIBUS Systems, offered as a one-day course for engineers and technicians that have already passed the Certified PROFIBUS Installer Course. The course is a pre-requisite for the Certified PROFIBUS Engineer Course also offered at MMU.
Covering the practical techniques of faultfinding on 'operational' PROFIBUS networks, techniques taught on the course include the use of a modern PROFIBUS analyser and Class-I and Class-II master functions (engineering tools such as ProfiTrace) to diagnose network faults, device faults and I/O problems.
