Reduce pump energy consumption
29 September 2014
According to Grundfos, although pumps may be hidden away in plant rooms, they are big energy consumers that currently account for 10% of global electricity.

The company believes most pumps are incorrectly sized for their application and says that by speaking to a company that can deliver a range of high efficiency pumps and advanced motor technology, it may be possible to reduce the pump’s energy consumption by up to 60%.
Grundfos will calculate the current efficiency levels of a company's pumps and deliver a bespoke range of solutions. Its Pump eXchange scheme ensures that businesses will get the full re-cycling value of any pumps they choose to replace.
