High-temperature furnaces
21 December 2014
Specialist UK furnace and oven manufacturer Carbolite has expanded its equipment range with the addition of the extensive Gero series of high-temperature furnaces that provide temperatures up to 3000°C under vacuum, inert gas and reactive atmospheres.

Chamber, top-hat and bottom-loading models are available, as well as several horizontal and vertical tube configurations. Specialist applications include debinding and sintering following metal injection moulding (MIM).
Depending on the temperature range and application, the equipment uses graphite, molybdenum or tungsten heating elements. Control can be manual or fully automatic with Siemens PLC and WINCC visualisation.
