Swarf skip gets a lift
04 March 2015
Contact Attachments recently provided one of its Low Loading Swarf Skips to manufacturer Metallisation, to enable staff to load and unload waste, debris, scrap or machine parts with ease.

Due to a lower overall height than the traditional skips provided by Contact Attachments, the Swarf Skip can fit into spaces where height is restricted, such as conveyor or presses, and provides a solution for clients looking for a forklift attached skip for a diverse range of uses, including collecting debris and waste.
Steve Moore, R&D engineer at Metallisation, explains: "We’re extremely happy with the Low Loading Skip provided by Contact Attachments, as it provides us with added safety during the loading and unloading our debris and machine parts or blanks, and allows us to tip it directly into our main scrap skip, removing the need to transfer the products and debris manually.”
Jason Cadman, technical sales consultant at Contact Attachments, commented: "With a watertight construction, our Low Loading Skips will collect debris whilst ensuring that no liquid can escape from the skip – preventing any spillages or leakages on factory or warehouse floors. It’s manufactured from 3mm side plates and 5mm base and rear plates, and can come in a variety of colours to suit branding.”
