Ethernet switches for harsh environments
04 March 2022
PHOENIX CONTACT has introduced a series of Ethernet switches that can operate within wide temperature rages. The FL Switch 1000NT series is suitable for process and maritime markets.

The FL Switch 1000NT series is further expanded to introduce wide temperature models with advanced approvals for process and maritime markets.
These switches offer a robust, metal housing, high port density, and automation protocol traffic prioritisation. The seven models allow for applications in a variety of industries such as oil and gas and shipbuilding.
Select models also feature SFP ports, providing greater flexibility for customers dependent upon their application connection and distance requirements. Thanks to the robust housing, the FL Switch 1000NT series has high immunity to noise, enabling it for use in the most critical of applications. Energy Efficient ethernet also allows these switches to feature a reduced power consumption, which will lessen heat and the overall footprint of the device.
- TE Connectivity and Phoenix Contact sign agreement
