Re-built Sidetracker multi-directional
reach trucks are providing a steel
stockholder with versatile materialshandling
performance at half the
cost of new machines. Yorkshire
Stainless stores pipe up to 6m long
on cantilever racking, and boxes of
fittings on pallet racking in a
warehouse with reduced aisle widths
and turning areas.
Two battery-powered Sidetrackers, compact SOW25 models, have allowed aisles in the cantilever racking to be reduced to 1.9m. Space for turning has been reduced as the trucks can steer in any direction, including diagonally, and rotate in a full circle on the spot.
Sidetracker's refurbishment programme includes re-building motors, masts and hydraulic controls, fitting new batteries, tyres, hydraulic hoses and seats, and re-sealing rams.
Trucks have a one-year warranty.
