Sidetracker Engineering has expanded its product range including the addition of two man-up machines said to be particularly useful when steel stock holders receive orders for mixed quantities of light duty sections, which can then be bundled, trade weighed and labelled at height.
This saves time bringing bulk stocks down to ground level, to pick one section from it and then return it back into the racking. The truck can be specified to handle bulk stocks in and out of the racking.
Sidetracker Engineering also now offers heavy duty electric platforms with high capacity platforms, railed or free standing, suitable for transferring materials between buildings where craneage is not available or for moving stocks long distances to despatch rather than using a forklift.
Meanwhile high capacity walk behind trucks are said to be ideal when traditional fork lifts are too bulky and expensive. Sidetracker can manufacture capacities not normally available with walk behind machines.
Finally new heavy duty reach trucks with capacities of 3-6 tonnes are ideal for heavy loads or double-deep applications.
