It is reported that German company, Decker Anlagenbau, has filled a market gap with its Lynx model. The manually operated, compact anodising system means aluminium component manufacturers do not have to rely on external companies for further surface finishing.

Combined with the possibility of ongoing quality control, the system allows the processing of raw parts more quickly, giving users a competitive advantage.

"Manufacturers can finish their components themselves, with more precise scheduling than competitors who have further processing work performed by a third party, who often have long delivery lead times depending on their order volume," says MD, Kay Rehberg.

Purchasing a Lynx system is said to be a good investment for companies who spend over 75,000 Euro per year - including the costs for transport, logistics, shipping, and post-processing - to have anodising performed by a third party.
