ETL status
24 September 2013
Ability Projects has secured Energy Technology Listing (ETL) status for its fan unit controller and associated fan coil unit control strategy.

The controlling strategy resides in a controller capable – in terms of numbers of inputs/outputs and programming capacity – of performing the tasks required of the qualifying strategy. This task is carried out by one of the Delta controllers, available to Ability as a Delta Partner. The strategy itself is configured to improve the operational efficiency of the fan coils at every opportunity. Ability says that while Variable Air Volume (VAV) strategies may well be the ‘talk of the town’ generally, for this strategy they are merely the base layer of a succession of energy saving features.
The Ability ETL listed strategy can be applied to any Ability fan coil product not just the company’s Matrix products.
