29 November 2013
State of the art EC/DC fan coil units, manufactured by Ability Projects, are providing conditioned air for aircrew and maintenance crew at the recently opened Lynx Wildcat helicopter training centre at RNAS Yeovilton.

Almost 70 Ability EVO190 and EVO270 chassis type, 4-pipe fan coil units supply conditioned air to the centre’s briefing rooms and integrated electronic classrooms at capacities from 1.5 to 3.7kW (cooling) and 2.5 to 4.5kW (heating).
All units are fitted with 4-port control valves, actuators, controllers and room sensor/setpoint/speed controllers and some also feature additional equipment including intake plenums, condensate pumps, fan failure flag switches and alarm signal relays.
