The new site includes The Transformer & Electrical Company (TEC), a subsidiary specialising in the design and manufacture of power transformers, chokes and power supplies. Many of Claude Lyons products incorporate TEC transformers and they play an important role in guaranteeing their quality and reliability.

Also incorporated is the company's PowerSave division, which uses voltage optimisation to help companies reduce their energy bills by up to 25%. The technology works by reducing the mains voltage to the level actually required by electrical equipment, which is often considerably lower than the standard 240V.
