Gas-fired tube heaters
20 November 2018
The deltaSchwank tube heater from Schwank incorporates the latest advances in radiant heating technology, including the company's bluTek burner, new heightened reflector properties and sophisticated intelligent temperature control.

The new deltaSchwank gas-fired tube heaters are said to offer exceptional levels of seasonal efficiency, exceeding current 2018 targets set by the Energy-Related Products Directive. The range is also precision engineered to meet the environmental goals on CO2 and NOx emissions reduction as calculated by BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method).
Seasonal efficiency across the six deltaSchwank models is from 97.4% to 99% (ErP Directive minimum compliance level 74% and benchmark level 88%). Schwank reports a 20% reduction in CO2 and 50% reduction in NOx emissions over other tube heater products on the market
Further features and benefits claimed for the deltaSchwank tube heater range include:
Highly efficient patented bluTek gas/air ratio pre-mix burner with IC 4000 burner control
High temperature resistant stainless-steel combustion chamber
Fully Insulated reflector
Fully modulating EC engine
ModBus connection for integration into BMS (building management system)
Ethernet enabled
Industry 4.0 ready
On-board diagnostic tool for optimised maintenance
Steve Sherman, managing director of Schwank UK, explains that the deltaSchwank radiant tube heater represents the highest levels of German manufacturing excellence: “This is a market leading heating solution that excels in efficiency, sustainability and user friendliness, offering operators maximum flexibility and accurate remote control of their heating system, together with significant cost-reduction benefits.”
