New busbar system
18 October 2015
The combined issues of safety and the need to tailor switchgear components to the individual application are addressed by Rittal's Ri4Power 185mm and the new Version 6.3 of the Rittal Power Engineering software.

The modular system consists of standardised and tested products which all meet the requirements of IEC 61 439 for low-voltage switchgear assemblies with design verification. Its smart design is a notable strong point; it is easy to assemble with a modular configuration and ideally adapted to the Rittal TS 8 bayed enclosure.
In addition, the contact hazard protection of the busbar system, which protects the user from touching electrically live parts, is mounted before the switching and protective devices are attached. This uses standardised products, meaning individual and laborious preparation of cover plates is no longer necessary – helping to save both the installer and user time and money.
