Swiss pharmaceutical company, F. Hoffmann-La Roche has opted for fire safety and building automation from Siemens for its new buildings on the Kaiseraugst campus near Basel, which are due to be completed mid 2017.

The Siemens Building Technologies Division will equip the buildings with Sinteso fire detectors.
In addition, Siemens has won the order for building automation technology, which will be implemented using the Desigo platform. This also includes intelligent control of heating, ventilation and air conditioning in individual rooms (Total Room Automation; TRA), which creates comfortable environmental conditions for building occupants.
