Pipe up to 6m long is stored on cantilever racking, and boxes of fittings on pallet racking. Compact, battery-powered Sidetrackers, SOW25 models, have allowed aisles in cantilever racking to be reduced to 1.9m; space for turning has been cut because the trucks can steer in any direction, including diagonally, and rotate in a full circle on the spot.

Sidetracker's refurbishment programme includes re-building the motors, masts and hydraulic controls, fitting new batteries, tyres, hydraulic hoses and seats, and re-sealing all rams. Trucks get a full re-spray, and are covered by a 1-year parts-andlabour warranty; batteries are guaranteed for five years.
