Air Control Industries launches modular drying range for high-performance manufacturing lines
09 April 2026
AIR CONTROL Industries (ACI) has launched Hyroic, a new modular drying system developed to support high-speed, high-reliability manufacturing environments, with initial applications focused on food and beverage production and packaging operations.

The Hyroic range has been engineered to address a common but often underestimated source of downtime and quality loss in automated lines: uncontrolled residual moisture. Water remaining on containers, or packaging surfaces can lead to inspection failures, coding and labelling defects, compromised seals, corrosion, and unplanned maintenance interventions.
Designed as a modular system, Hyroic allows drying stations to be configured and reconfigured as production layouts, throughput rates, and product formats change. Modules can be added, repositioned, or upgraded without major line redesign, supporting both new installations and retrofit projects in space-constrained plants.
The systems are based on electric blower technology and application-specific airflow design, delivering targeted, high-velocity air where it is needed while reducing reliance on compressed air. This approach offers improved energy efficiency, lower operating costs, and reduced maintenance compared with traditional air-knife or compressed-air drying solutions.
Hyroic is manufactured using corrosion-resistant materials suited to wet, washdown, and heavy-duty environments, with standardised components intended to simplify spares management and servicing. Optional acoustic and hygienic enclosures allow integration in noise-sensitive or controlled-environment zones.
"Across many automated production lines, moisture is a small variable with a disproportionately large impact on quality, uptime, and overall equipment effectiveness. Hyroic was developed as a modular, industrial system that can be engineered around the process, rather than forcing the process to adapt to a fixed drying solution," said Dan Anjos, business development manager at Air Control Industries.
Hyroic has been designed as a long-term solution, with future development planned to incorporate performance monitoring, data capture, and condition-based maintenance capabilities, aligning with Industry 4.0 and connected manufacturing strategies.
Air Control Industries is a UK-based specialist in industrial airflow, cooling, and drying technologies for manufacturing sectors worldwide. Hyroic represents its modular drying system for production and packaging lines, combining scalable system architecture with application-driven airflow engineering to support reliability, energy efficiency, and process consistency in modern manufacturing environments.
